Analysis of Factors Affecting the Technical Condition and Operational Reliability of Low-Voltage Electrical Network Equipment
Abstract
Relevance: Low-voltage distribution equipment is simultaneously exposed to loading, power-quality, thermal, ageing and environmental stresses. Single-parameter monitoring is therefore insufficient for condition-based maintenance.
Aim: to systematize the dominant factors and establish a quantitative relationship between an integrated technical-condition index and operational reliability.
Methods: parameter normalization, weighted health indexing, thermal ageing representation, exponential reliability modelling, correlation-regression analysis and a computational experiment.
Results: an eight-factor condition assessment model is proposed, enabling transition from measurable operating parameters to failure intensity and probability of failure-free operation.
