Abstract

Relevance: in this article examines the theoretical foundations of ensuring the balance of electricity in distributed electric networks with a multi-stage polygonal topology developed on the basis of the ENERNET concept. The analysis of the technical and operational disadvantages of existing urban electric distribution networks has been carried out. 0,4–6–10 A new topological solution has also been proposed, aimed at improving the efficiency of managing electricity flows and reducing its losses. As part of the study, a mathematical model based on the nodal voltage method was developed and a theoretical analysis of the steady-state operating modes of the electrical network was performed using a matrix of intrinsic and mutual conductivities of the nodes. The proposed model provides the ability to balance the processes of electricity generation and consumption in real time by integrating energy storage systems into electrical load nodes. The results of the study indicate that the proposed topology represents an effective scientific and practical basis for reducing electricity losses, improving the reliability of power supply, rational use of distributed generation sources, as well as further development of Smart Grid and ENERNET intelligent energy systems.

Aim: to determine the conditions for ensuring the balance of electricity in an electric grid with a multi-stage polygonal topology.

Methods: control of the operating modes of the distribution electrical network, changing its topology, as well as voltage regulation of power transformers under load.

Results: reducing electricity losses caused by an imbalance between the volumes of its generation and consumption, increasing the reliability of electricity supply to consumers through the integration of energy storage systems, reducing energy costs by reducing the difference in its cost in the base and peak zones of the electric load schedule, as well as increasing the service life of electric power equipment.
