Analysis of factors influencing the fuels obtained during the pyrolysis process

FULL TEXT:

Abstract

Relevance: at present, the scale of environmental damage caused by the flow of industrial and household waste into the environment is steadily increasing. At the same time, reserves of conventional natural fuel resources on the Earth are decreasing year by year, making the issue of ensuring energy security one of the most pressing challenges. In order to find effective solutions to these problems, scientists are developing alternative and environmentally acceptable technologies. One of such promising solutions is pyrolysis technology. The development of efficient pyrolysis models optimized for each type of waste and their implementation in practice make it possible to convert harmful waste streams into useful products, as well as to produce pyro-fuels capable of competing with natural fuels in terms of energy value, thereby creating opportunities to ensure environmental sustainability and energy security.

Aim: during the pyrolysis process, the distribution of products formed as a result of the effects of different temperature regimes on biomass feedstock, as well as their fields of practical application, were analyzed in detail.

Methods: the techniques used for the efficient production of pyrolysis fuels through the pyrolysis process were analyzed and studied.

Results: experimental studies on pyrolysis processes conducted by researchers worldwide and within the Republic were analyzed, and the methods employed as well as the theoretical knowledge derived from the obtained results were presented.
